Take Cardivas CR 20 exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Take the tablet daily with food. You must take medicine only one time each day. To reduce the risk of side effects, take it exactly as your doctor prescribes. Take the controlled-release tablet one time each day with food. To lessen side effects, your doctor might begin a low dose and then slowly increase the dose. Swallow the pill whole without chewing or crushing the pill.
