Ciplox 0.3% is the antibiotic drop used to treat eye bacterial infections. It helps relieve symptoms of the infection by stopping the further growth of causative microorganisms.

Ciprofloxacin Ophthalmic is an antibiotic eye drop that belongs to a group of drugs known as quinolone antibiotics. This is a prescription-based medicine for treating bacterial eye infections. Additionally, some doctors prescribe Ciprofloxacin for certain serious ear infections too, follow your doctor’s advice or, in case of any doubt, go for a second opinion by consulting another doctor.

The antibiotic Ciprofloxacin works by killing the bacteria that cause the infection. It is effective against both the gram-positive and gram-negative bacterial cells. The drug hampers the cell replication process of bacteria by inhibiting the function of DNA gyrase or type II topo-isomerase enzymes that separate the bacterial DNA and prepare it for replication.
