In general, your body’s immune system normally works to protect you against infections and other foreign material. When you undergo a transplant, your immune system fails to recognize the new organ and will try to reject it. Cyclophil reduces this response so that your body can accept the new organ. Cyclosporine does not completely suppress the immune system, so your body will have some infection-fighting ability. Do not use Cyclophil Me if you have ever had an unusual allergic reaction to Cyclosporin or any other medicine ingredients. For the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and nephrotic syndrome, if you have any of the following conditions:
- Uncontrolled blood pressure
- Abnormal kidney function
- Uncontrolled infection
- Any cancer
- Inherited or acquired immune deficiency
Avoid using Cyclophil Me with bosentan.
Medicines that are used to suppress the immune system may influence your body’s ability to fight against infection and may increase the risk of developing cancers associated with the skin or lymphoid system. Therefore, limiting exposure to sunlight and ultraviolet rays is important by wearing appropriate protective clothing and frequently applying sunscreen with a high protection factor.
