Gabapin 300 mg is used in combination with other seizure control medications for the management and prevention of seizures associated with epilepsy. Gabapentin does not cure epilepsy and only works to control seizures if the medication is taken. It may also be prescribed to treat restless legs syndrome (RLS), to relieve numbness and tingling related to diabetes, to prevent hot flashes, and to relieve pain that can accompany shingles. Gabapentin is the main active pharmaceutical ingredient present in Gabapin capsules. This drug belongs to a group of medication known as an anticonvulsant. This medicine is used to treat epilepsy and peripheral neuropathic pain. This drug consists of Gabapentin. This drug belongs to a group of medicines called anti-epileptic or anticonvulsants. It works by affecting the transmission of nerve signals in the brain that makes the brain calm and relaxed and thus treats epilepsy.

- Before taking Gabapin 300 mg, inform your doctor if you have any kidney disease, liver impairment, diabetes, heart problems, or have a history of depression.

How to Use
The dosage of Gabapin depends upon your age, weight, medical condition, and your response to the treatment. Therefore, your doctor will decide the correct dose. Take the dose exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Never take two capsules to substitute one 300 mg capsule. The drug is to be taken with the food or without the food as directed by your doctor. The capsule is to be swallowed with a glass of water. Do not spill or open the capsule. You should take the dose until you finish the prescription. Do not stop or change the dose of Gabapentin even if you feel better.
