The medicine comprises of Montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist, which works by blocking the action of leukotrienes in the body.
Leukotrienes are the substances that are responsible for causing narrowing and swelling of airways in the lungs. The chemical substance also causes allergic symptoms. Montair helps control asthma symptoms and improves seasonal allergy symptoms such as seasonal allergic rhinitis and hay fever. Side Effects
If you notice serious side effects such as sudden wheezing, difficulties to swallow, flu-like illness, needles or numbness of arms, suicidal thoughts, severe skin reactions, body rash, or fainting, please call your doctor. The common side effects that are reported with, Montair 10 mg are abdominal pain, headache, asthma, fever, itchy skin, hyperactivity, thirst, asthma, or eczema.
How to Use
Your doctor will tell you how Montair tablets should be used depending on the symptoms and severity of your respiratory illness. You may be asked to take it once daily with water.
