Description
Omezest H 20/12.5 is a combination of two medicines – Olmesatan and Hydrochlorothiazide. These two active ingredients in the medicine work together to control high blood pressure differently. The dose generally depends on a patient’s condition and how they respond to the treatment. It is important to keep taking medicine until your doctor tells you not to discontinue treatment. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic that will make you urinate more so; it is best to avoid taking this medicine within four hours of bed. Take it regularly to benefit from it, even if you feel well. People with high blood pressure do not usually show symptoms; if you discontinue treatment, your risk of stroke and heart attack increases.

The combination tablets can be taken with or without food. There is, as such, no necessity prescribed for the product. It is advisable to take this drug at least 4 hours before going to bed as doing this will prevent you from getting up from sleep time and again urinating.
